WELCOME FROM AYANNA CUMMINGS

We are delighted to welcome you to Compass Group USA! I hope that you have an enriching
and informative experience during our DEI Inclusion Champions Career Fair 2023.
We are on a purpose-filled mission to create a perceptibly inclusive culture and comprehensive DEI transformation through learning, growth, recognizance, representation, and accountability. Our journey is incomplete without you! Join us as we continually embark on learning and growth experiences that captivate our allies and commemorate the myriad contributions our diverse and unique cultural heritages make upon the employee experience and upon society at large.
From our community outreach and impact initiatives to Employee Resource Groups, training and development experiences, and so much more, our Multi-Pronged Approach for systemic cultural transformation is poised to create an inclusive, diversity-friendly atmosphere for you. I am proud to boast two HBCU’s as my Alma Maters. I attended Hampton University as an undergraduate, and went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration degree at Clark Atlanta University prior to obtaining my PhD. I know that there is no place parallel to the HBCU experience for the nurturance, fulfillment and camaraderie you receive during and beyond your college years.
At Compass Group, you are welcome and you belong to a community of people. We authentically seek to transform lives and eradicate inequities in underserved and historically marginalized communities. Won’t you join us and be the agent for the type of change you wish to see in the world?
Job application links will be posted during the Career Fair intermission and will be available after event day. We are happy to answer any questions you may have about the positions via email. If I can be a resource for you, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Yours sincerely,

Ayanna R. Cummings, PhD, MBA, SPHR
